A Bit About Me
I was born Beckie Crockett in Dallas, Texas. I’m a 54 model, that
is 1954. I visited Austin while I was in high school and knew then that
I wanted to return someday. I met my husband, Russell in Dallas and one
of the things we had in common was a desire to live in Austin. We moved
here in 1976. We have 2 sons and 4 grandchildren.
Over the last 30 years I’ve had 3
careers. My first was working for “Ma Bell” doing everything from
customer service to driving forklifts. From this experience I learned
that working for a corporation was not for me. I began my search for a
small business and found a micro-business selling dried spices, herbs
and chilis to restaurants and to the public. I was in aromatherapy
heaven! For 10 years I strived to sell the purest spice products I could
find, building a great following among local and regional restaurants
and individuals all over the world. Until one day a young man approached
me for help with starting his new coffee business and I proposed he buy
my company and add his line of coffee. The rest is history and
Texas Spice
Company is now a 25 year old successful Austin company.
Once again I was free to explore my
options. I decided to go into construction with Russell’s construction
company doing residential remodel and restorations. He had been doing
this work for 20 years without me so we thought it would be fun to work
together…and it was! Every day was a learning experience and by the 10th
year I had learned much there is to know about the construction of a
house. Swinging a hammer together was quite a stretch for both of us but
we loved working through all the details. In 2003 we both laid down our
tool belts and began acting as General Contractors on the historic
restoration of two prominent Austin properties. As this project is
nearing the end I once again have begun to look on to the next phase.
This brings me to present as I seem to
go in 10 year cycles. This time I desire to help people heal their
environment at a deeper level. I found healing houses very gratifying
but I want to take the next step. In developing this new venture I am
firmly grounded in my dedication to

suffering and Create
beauty. I would be honored to
gently guide you through the clutter that holds you back from your true
greatness.
My life aside from my career is rich. I
love music and I love to sing. In 2004, I discovered Hilde Girls, led by
Susan Lincoln. She teaches songs written by St. Hildegard von Bingen
among many others.
Hilde Girls
is really about dipping deep into the well of self discovery and
enlightenment by way of voice and heart. Yum! I also love to walk, play
Frisbee, garden, play with my grandchildren, paint and visit our
mountain home in
Ruidoso. Talking to my husband of 32 years, reading, napping and
watching old movies are some of my favorite pastimes.
I believe balance is the key to peace
and happiness. Finding balance in your life within your career,
relationships, playtime, spiritual life, homelife…every aspect is of
utmost importance.
